Sitting in the Customer Data Science team, this entry level role offers the exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of experiences critical to success as a Data Scientist.

This is a fabulous opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their analytics career to join an organisation with an exciting roadmap, currently executing a cloud migration and is leading and accelerating the clean energy transition with exciting initiatives across virtual power plants, EVs and solar projects. We also offer our customers carbon neutral energy at no extra cost!

The successful candidate will be supported by the team at both technical and non-technical levels so that they can develop the commercial acumen and data ecosystem familiarity to become more autonomous

What we’re looking for

You have a genuine curiosity and passion for data, and how it can be used to solve real-world problems. You have a desire to develop technical understanding and to sharpen your communication skills so you can explain the most intricate data ideas to anyone and everyone.

  • An appetite to dive into a fast-paced environment and combine your technical skills with commercial acumen
  • Bachelor or higher degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, econometrics or a related discipline
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguous problems in a structured manner
  • Proficiency in Python, R, Spark, Visualisation Tools (EG Tableau/Power BI)
  • Experience with cloud platforms and building pipelines would be highly valued (but not mandatory)
